For more than 25 years, our volunteers (affectionately known as “History Buffs”) have diligently gathered an extensive collection of documents, photos, and archives that capture the rich history of Clark County, Wisconsin.

Clark County History Buffs is a specialized internet library within the American History & Genealogy Project (AHGP)

  • In 2000, a group of webmasters united to develop independent genealogy and history websites about the United States, but as many of these webmasters have passed on, I, Dennis N. Partridge, the domain owner and host for over 20 years, with written permission from Judy White, have decided to modernize and consolidate these efforts under the AHGP main website, preserving their work, reviving old pages, and ensuring any copyrighted material is handled appropriately with permission from the copyright holders.   • The Clark County History Buffs Internet Library is a digital collection of historical materials related to Clark County, compiled over 25 years by dedicated volunteers. This online archive includes documents, photographs, and records that preserve and share the area's rich history with the public.
